Lake Conditions & Water Quality

The City of Canyon Lake and the Property Owners Association (POA) receive water quality test results from Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) indicating all lake water quality testing sites throughout the entire lake came back negative, which would trigger opening or closing the lake, depending on the results.  For questions regarding recreation and water quality, please contact POA Management at (951) 244-6841 for more information.
As part of the ongoing effort to keep our lake clean and a great place for recreation, we will keep you updated about our Alum Treatment Program.  To find out more about the problems with keeping our lake clean, please play the video below from the Lake Elsinore and San Jacinto Watersheds Authority (LESJWA).
